The Andaman Family Fun package is designed from the ground up for families who want to experience the magic of the Indian Ocean without the stress. Across 6 days and 5 nights, you'll move from the history-steeped lanes of Port Blair to the powdery shores of Havelock Island and the serene lagoons of Neil Island — each day packed with age-friendly adventures that thrill kids and delight adults equally.
Think glass-bottom boat rides over technicolour coral, beginner snorkelling in calm turquoise shallows, a moving evening at the Cellular Jail sound-and-light show, a banana boat ride at Elephant Beach and a beach bonfire under the stars. Every activity is curated to be safe, exciting and genuinely memorable for travellers of all ages — from toddlers to grandparents.
Route: Port Blair → Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) → Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) → Port Blair
Spend an afternoon at Asia's most celebrated beach — soft white sand, warm shallow waters and a spectacular sunset that the whole family will talk about for years.
Glide over coral gardens without getting wet — ideal for younger children and non-swimmers who still want to experience the stunning underwater world of North Bay.
Snorkel through pristine reefs at Elephant Beach — a calm, sheltered bay perfect for first-timers. Equipment, life jackets and a certified instructor included for the entire family.
An evening at Cellular Jail's historic sound-and-light show brings India's freedom struggle alive in a way that resonates deeply with children and adults — educational, emotional and unforgettable.
Kids go wild on the banana boat at Elephant Beach — helmeted, life-jacketed and shrieking with delight. Older kids can also try sea-walking or semi-submarine rides.
Neil Island's unhurried pace is a gift for families. A quiet sunset walk to Laxmanpur Beach followed by a private beach bonfire with fresh seafood BBQ — the perfect family evening.
Arrive at Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair. Your guide and AC vehicle are waiting. Check in to your beach resort and freshen up. Early afternoon drive to Corbyn's Cove Beach — a sheltered palm-fringed beach perfect for a first dip in the Andaman Sea. Kids can splash in the calm shallows while parents sip fresh coconut water. Evening: Cellular Jail National Memorial Sound & Light Show — a powerful narration of India's colonial-era freedom struggle. Welcome dinner at your resort with fresh Andaman seafood.
After breakfast, board a ferry to North Bay Island — the star of the day is a glass-bottom boat ride over kaleidoscopic coral reefs. No swimming required, making it perfect for all ages. Watch vibrant parrot fish, sea turtles and anemone through the transparent hull. Lunch on board or at the beach shack. Afternoon ferry to Ross Island (now Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island) — explore the atmospheric British-era ruins draped in jungle vines. The friendly spotted deer here are an instant hit with children. Return to Port Blair by sunset. Overnight Port Blair.
Morning ferry to Havelock Island (government ferry or private speed boat, ~2 hrs). Check in to your beach resort — family rooms with connecting options available. Post check-in, head straight to the iconic Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7). The wide, shallow turquoise bay is ideal for children — let them dig sand castles, wade in the warm surf and hunt for shells while you soak in one of Asia's finest beach settings. Watch the sun melt into the horizon from the beach. Dinner at the resort. Overnight Havelock.
The big family adventure day. Morning boat ride to Elephant Beach — a pristine bay ringed by jungle-clad hills. Family snorkelling session in the calm, clear shallows with a certified instructor — equipment, masks, fins and life jackets provided for all ages including young children. Spot clownfish, sea stars and gentle reef fish. After snorkelling, hit the beach sports zone: banana boat rides, sea kayaking, paddleboarding and (for braver teens) sea-walking on the seabed. Packed beach lunch included. Back at the resort by late afternoon for a relaxed pool evening. Overnight Havelock.
Morning ferry to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) — a quieter, laidback island that children and parents both adore for its relaxed pace. Check in to your beachside cottages. Afternoon cycle ride (or tuk-tuk if little legs protest) to Natural Bridge — a dramatic natural rock formation carved by the sea, easily accessible and wonderfully photogenic. Late afternoon at Bharatpur Beach — shallow turquoise water perfect for paddling. As the sun dips, gather on Laxmanpur Beach for your private family beach bonfire — fresh seafood and vegetables grilled over open coals while the stars come out over the Indian Ocean. Overnight Neil Island.
Morning at leisure — a final dip at Sitapur Beach, famous for its sunrise views and fossilised coral. Pick up last-minute souvenirs (shell jewellery, Andaman spice mixes, black pepper jams) from the Neil Island market. Mid-morning ferry back to Port Blair. Light lunch at a Port Blair café. Complimentary vehicle transfer to Veer Savarkar Airport for your onward flight. Carry home full memory cards, sun-kissed faces and the unmistakable satisfaction of the Andamans done right as a family.
